- A temporary shelter built in the mountains of northern Pakistan after a major earthquake hit South Asia in 2015. The octagonal structure is made of bamboo panels and has a conical roof derived from indigenous architecture of the south. The shelter can be easily mastered by amateurs and assembled in less than an hour. The structure can be used as a quasi-permanent dwelling if necessary, and presents a new path for community-led disaster recovery.
