- Prototype of a floating structure built for Makoko, a water slum located in the lagoon of Lagos. It was conceived as a sustainable alternative that could keep up with the rising sea level, and prototypes of improved structures and simplified assembly continued to be built in various locations. However, the Makoko school collapsed in 2016 due to management and structural problems. It also demonstrates the difficulty of sustaining an architectural philosophy.
