- Evacuation Terrain Time Map", commonly known as "Escape Map", is a method to visualize evacuation routes and times during disasters, developed by volunteers of Nikken Sekkei Inc. after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Toshiya Yamamoto Laboratory of Meiji University and Isamu Kinoshita Laboratory of Chiba University also collaborated. Workshop participants share local information and visualize differences in evacuation routes in the process of creating an evacuation map, and learn evacuation planning as a personal matter. The workshop has been expanded to include landslides, floods, and fires, and practical activities are still ongoing.
