Kizu River Waterfront Promenade “Tocotocodandan”

- A promenade and plaza along the left bank of the Kizu River, planned as part of the "Water Metropolis Osaka Revitalization Project. While maintaining the history of the revetment, a cantilevered walkway was added above the existing embankment. A soft boundary between the water and the town was created. The waterfront revetment, which is set lower than the planned water level, is flooded in response to changes in the tide level, allowing the rhythm of nature to intervene in the city. Through the Osaka Prefectural Government's Platform Formation Support Project, various entities are continuously involved in the competition, construction, and maintenance of the revetment by the Tokotokodandan Association, a residents' organization.
