HYPERMIX

Outline
This complex consists of a café, gym and other community businesses on the first basement to the second floor, and offices and residential units on the third through eighth floors, separated by an intermediate seismic isolation layer. By skillfully coexisting residential and business spaces in a single building through common spaces, a new urban typology is proposed, in which functions are mixed while complying with current regulations. The building is intended to be managed and operated jointly by the owner and designer, and to create a soft community by providing a place to connect residents and local people.
