SHAREyaraicho

Outline
The Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011 exposed the seriousness of the damage caused by social isolation. This shared house for seven people is an architecture that focuses on the richness that can be created by people sharing in the high-density city of Tokyo. The common space is a three-story atrium created when two or three private spaces are stacked on top of each other. The degree of openness of the common spaces, such as the common kitchen and roof garden, is left to the residents.
