- A complex facility for the regeneration of local resources that integrates education, research, transmission, and accommodation functions. In Kamikatsu Town, the recycling rate exceeds 80% through the composting of food waste, reuse of unneeded items, and sorting of 45 items. The recycling process is spatialized in a horseshoe-shaped plan and combined with a circular hotel building to depict the "? to consumption and disposal. Patchwork openings with 700 pieces of old fixtures collected from local residents and a bolted structure made of local cedar wood provide an architectural answer to resource recycling.
