Copenhill
BIG
- Outline
- A waste-to-energy conversion facility with ski slopes, nature trails, a climbing wall, and other recreational features. To realize this project, we solved various technical, architectural, and institutional problems. It embodies "hedonic sustainability" and redefines the relationship with society by making environmental infrastructure transparent. Waste is converted into road building materials, and energy produced is converted into electricity and district heating.
