Swatch and Omega Headquarters

Outline
The Swatch headquarters (above), the Cité du Temps (conference and exhibition facility, below left), and the OMEGA factory. The 250m long, 11,000m2 wooden grid shell covering the Swatch headquarters is composed of 7,700 differently shaped wooden elements. The shapes of the members were determined based on parametric models and cut using CNC machines, and the Cité du Temps is a wooden ramen structure with four wooden columns sandwiching beams in two directions as a more rigid post-and-beam connection.
