- A branch of the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, opened in 1977. The entire building is covered by a suspended wooden roof woven in a pattern of hexagons and equilateral triangles, under which three 15m x 90m gallery tubes are inserted. The roof is made of laminated timbers overlapping each other at the top and bottom, and the upper and lower chords are held in place by wooden bundles.
