- In his essay "The Definition of Space," Keretz proposes a "bare space. This house is an experiment in bare brick construction. A series of circular rooms are stacked in three layers, and a total of 39 rooms with different diameters and heights are divided three-dimensionally into three dwelling units. The closed space between the circles contains a toilet, a closet, an elevator, and a PS. The bare rooms themselves can be either bare and unfinished or extremely elaborate and sophisticated.
