- A renovation project of a sake brewery with a history of more than 100 years. The former rice mill, a registered tangible cultural property, was converted into a gallery for tastings and exhibitions. The exterior walls were repaired with burnt cedar, and the existing earthen walls were repaired to make use of the existing walls, while two black leather iron plates were used to reinforce the structure and create a contrast of materials.
