Steampunk
Gwyllim Jahn & Cameron Newnham + Soomeen Hahm + Igor Pantic
- Outline
- The pavilion is constructed of steam-bent planks that are woven together. It was constructed for the Tallinn Architecture Biennale through the collaboration of architects and engineers. Without drawings or programs for CNC machines, augmented reality (AR) was used to superimpose a 3D model directly onto the construction site in an attempt to bring out the craftsmanship and achieve a craft-like quality.
