- To achieve the appearance of a cedar forest in the backwoods, like the rain painted by Hiroshige, all the interior and exterior finishes, from the roof to the walls, are composed of cedar louvers with a 30 x 60 mm cross section and a pitch of 120 mm. The degree of openness is adjusted by overlapping the louvers and different materials. The wooden louvers on the roof were developed as a noncombustible material certified under Article 32 by the Minister.
