Iberê Camargo Museum
Álvaro Siza Vieira
- Outline
- The concrete volume with a sculptural sublimity is formed by perpendicular vertical walls on the west and south facades and corrugated walls on the east and north facades, and a ramp, spatialized as a closed gallery, extends out from several places, connecting the exhibition rooms on each floor while holding the landscape. While the white color scheme is the basic color, the light entering through the small openings and the materiality of the exterior walls create a soft expression.
