Aomori Museum of Art
Jun Aoki
- Outline
- This museum was inspired by the adjacent Sannai-Maruyama site. A series of spaces are created by interlocking the upwardly convex and downwardly convex white structure over the upwardly convex and downwardly convex breaks in the earth, and the gap between the two is created by the shifting of the two. The "earth" exhibition room, which is designed to realize a space that does not limit actions like a field, coexists with the "white cube" exhibition room, which is made of white painted bricks, while at the same time being in conflict with it.
