- Outline
- The name of this museum, derived from the Greek word "chiasma" (crossing), was chosen in an international design competition held in 1993. The design was based on the human scale, especially the eye level of 165cm, in consideration of the natural light in Finland. The flowing space is created by the continuity of the interior space and the skylight of the curved roof that captures horizontal natural light.
