Niterói Contemporary Art Museum
Oscar Niemeyer
- Outline
- The museum is situated on a bluff that allows for panoramic views of Sugarloaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay. It is one of Niemeyer's most beloved projects, a design that emerged from the ground and is intended to continue to grow and expand. He painted a picture of the museum on a napkin at lunch after deciding on the site immediately after being shown it.
