Dracula’s Den
Osamu Ishiyama
- Outline
- The couple, both men, requested a one-room apartment isolated from society. With few openings and rust-colored shutters at the entrance, it has the ascetic appearance of a factory. The architect's device is a protest against social prejudice, and a response to people's affection for the imperfect state of things. The dynamics from both inside and outside have created a slightly distorted "coffin of light.
