Gasometer

Outline
The gas tank, which was considered one of the largest in Europe at the time of its construction, was decided to be preserved before it ceased operations. After a competition, it was rehabilitated as a complex of commercial facilities, housing, and offices. The exterior walls, characterized by polychromy of coated bricks, were retained, while the interior and surrounding areas were extensively remodeled to allow for the introduction of new uses.
