NEXT21
Osaka Gas and NEXT21 Planning Team
- Outline
- This experimental housing complex project incorporates themes such as variability and environmental considerations. Based on the concept of a systems building (generally, skeleton-infill), the reinforced concrete ramen frame without earthquake-resistant walls incorporates ample plumbing and wiring space. Each unit was designed by a different designer according to common components and rules. Initially, retrofit experiments were conducted every five years, including moving exterior walls and integrating the dwelling units.
