Dominus Winery

Outline
The winery's central facility for fermentation, maturation, and storage of wine. In order to cope with the climate, which varies greatly from day to day, the facade is made of stacked snake baskets, which are used for river embankment foundations, to regulate the room temperature. The stones used to fill the basalt baskets are local basalt, with varying densities to allow light to penetrate the baskets.
