- A 100-unit housing complex for the elderly. Eighty-seven units are arranged in a single-corridor volume derived from the site conditions, and the remaining units are "glued" together with bold cantilevers that float above the ground level. The client's requests and regulations, which had not been considered as the object of design, were sublimated into the architectural composition. The thickness of the boundary wall, which was designed to provide sound insulation, secured the strength of the cantilevers and reduced the construction cost.
