Silver Hut

Outline
Seven lightweight steel-framed vaults of various sizes are erected on concrete columns to create a place of residence, each with its own function. Influenced by Koji Taki, I shifted my attention from spatiality to place, and made the structure more open in order to reduce spatiality. It is a plan for an open space that takes into account the immediacy of function and form, the context of materials, and the way furniture and architecture fluidly wrap around the body and its actions.
