- Philip Johnson and others present the projects of seven architects under the theme of "Deconstructivist". The seven are Frank O. Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Rem Koolhaas, Peter Eisenman, Zaha Hadid, Coop Himmelblau, and Bernard Tschumi. In the exhibition catalog, deconstructive architecture is described as a subversion of the order-oriented architecture of the past by means of formal disturbance and deviation.
