Moto-machi High-rise Apartments Complex and Choju-en High-rise Apartments Complex

Outline
This housing complex was built as a redevelopment project for an emergency housing complex that had become a slum in postwar Hiroshima. 4 units on 2 levels are stacked together, and the housing units are arranged in a "U" shape, folding around a central plaza. A school and an assembly hall were also planned as an integral part of the project. The square is raised to the second floor as an artificial ground, with the shopping center on the first floor and the parking lot in the basement to organize the flow line.
