- It follows the idea of transcendence of the Capitol as a "fortress" and the manifestation of its locality. Centered on the octagonal chamber, the independence and harmony of multiple elements are in conflict. Geometry, light, and materials such as brick and marble respond to the spirituality of "water and vegetation dominating the landscape," the landscape of "dig and build," and the religiosity of the climate.
