Can Lis
Jørn Utzon
- Outline
- The building is arranged in rows according to natural conditions and function on a Mediterranean cliff. The cave-like space created by openings with concealed window frames and stone furniture is a distinctive feature of the building. The building was constructed using local materials through a trial-and-error process with local craftsmen. Architect Lise Yule's meticulous renovation (2011-12) further concentrated the essence of the space.
