- As the Soviet architectural community moved away from a focus on efficiency, it began to build buildings that revived the principles of Russian Constructivism, including the former Ministry of Highway Construction, a two-story horizontal volume that is arranged in a well. Since its renovation in 2011, the building has been used as the headquarters of the Bank of Georgia.
