Sky House

Outline
The square plan of approximately 10 meters per side and the roof of the HP shell are lifted into the air by four wall pillars. A space for a married couple is placed at the center of the house, while "move nets," interchangeable spatial devices such as equipment and children's rooms, are suspended in the pilotis, creating a living space that can respond to changing lifestyles. It was the first postwar house to be designated as an Important Cultural Property.
