- Le Corbusier's concept of the "Museum of Infinite Growth," in which the main hall at the center of the building is the starting point for a series of exhibition galleries that spiral outward and can be expanded in the future, has been realized in three museums, including the National Museum of Western Art (1959). It began with the "Museum of Modern Art in Paris" project (1930) and was realized in three other museums, including the National Museum of Western Art (1959). The museum, which was realized in his urban planning for Chandigarh, also features skylights with shades to cope with the strong sunlight and revolving doors to let in outside air to suit the Indian climate.
