- A museum in a renovated 14th century fortress building. It is the culmination of Scarpa's work, blending exhibits, existing space, and new architecture. Scarpa's approach is evident in the use of straight sashes over existing decorative arches and the removal of the existing grand staircase to create an outdoor exhibition area for the equestrian statues, which allows for the removal of old elements and the addition of new elements as necessary.
