- Four symmetrical concrete shells supported by Y-shaped legs cover a passenger space 105 m long and 17 m high, with skylights where the four shells meet to provide natural light. TWA was described as a beautiful ruin during its construction. 2001 saw the end of its role as an airport, and in 2019 it was reborn as a hotel, continuing its life.
