- A masterpiece by Wright in his later years, this building has a flowing interior space that allows visitors to ascend to the top floor via an elevator, view the linear spiral exhibition space along the ramp, and then return to the first floor. The structural engineer J.J. Polivka eliminated the need for the columns that were originally placed on the slope, and the continuity of the cantilever and slab created a composition in which one floor flows into the next.
