- In Czechoslovakia after World War II, apartment complexes known as "kordom" attracted much attention. Built by the chemical factory in Litvinov, they were planned for nuclear families, including a variety of common areas and facilities, and aimed to pass on the connections between employees in the chaos of the postwar period.
