Lever House

Outline
A box-shaped office building with glass curtain walls and homogeneous spaces. The building contributes to the richness of the urban environment by setting back the upper floors from the street and opening up the pilotis and courtyard in the lower floors as public space. The facade was renovated after about 50 years (replacement of the mullion and other exterior cladding was completed in 1998, and the entire preservation work was completed in 2001).
