Los Manantiales
Felix Candela
- Outline
- A pioneering thin concrete structure utilizing intersecting hyperbolic paraboloidal surfaces by Candela, who has been called the leading authority on HP shell structures. Aiming for an efficient and artistic form, a 4cm-thick roof membrane and V-shaped beams at the intersections of the structure create a large span and an elegant, light shell.
