The Atlántida Church
Eladio Dieste
- Outline
- The conoidal shell side walls of reinforced brickwork and the double-curved vaulted roof create an interior space that integrates the nave and the inner sanctuary. Although this is the earliest architecture of Dieste, a former engineer, the spatial composition of the building is a condensation of the direction that would be taken in later years.
