Shirokiya Department Store
Kikuji Ishimoto
- Outline
- A long-established department store facing the Nihonbashi intersection. The horizontal lines that run along the entire facade change their expression subtly between the corners, and vertical lines are added on the Nihonbashi-dori side to form a lattice pattern. The first phase was completed in 1928, and the entire building was completed in 1931.
