Tsuchiura House
Kameki Tsuchiura + Nobuko Tsuchiura
- Outline
- An industrialized house by a couple who studied under Frank Lloyd Wright, combining modernist forms, construction techniques, and lifestyles. The houses have a continuous three-dimensional spatial composition, using the "dry wooden construction method" in an attempt to mass-produce houses. Emphasis is placed on a rich and comfortable living experience. In 2024, the house was moved to the site of the POLA Aoyama Building and restored.
