Aalto's international reputation was established. He and his wife, Aino, collaborated on the meticulous design of furniture, lighting, and acoustics, placing the highest priority on the recovery and comfort of tuberculosis patients. The design integrating light, ventilation, forest landscape, and wood utilization foreshadowed contemporary biophilic design. He has established a unique, human-centered architectural expression that considers the well-being of the people.
