Dojunkai Daikanyama Apartment

Outline
Dojunkai was the first state-led housing agency in Japan, established after the Great Kanto Earthquake, and built a total of 15 RC apartments with full communal facilities (bathrooms, dining rooms, recreation rooms, etc.) in Tokyo and Yokohama. Daikanyama was the first example of a large-scale residential complex that spanned multiple city blocks, with streets planned to respond to the undulating topography and housing types created to accommodate them.
