Großsiedlung Britz
Bruno Taut
- Outline
- This is a large-scale housing complex with more than 2,500 units. While the standardization of dwelling planes, the introduction of new sanitary facilities, and the mechanization of construction work are all attempts at rational housing construction, Taut's interest in community and a sense of color can also be seen in the horseshoe-shaped layout and rich color palette of the housing units.
