Karl Marx-Hof
Karl Ehn
- Outline
- This public housing complex, a representative of the so-called Red Vienna period, houses 1,382 residential units as well as a library, kindergarten, and other public facilities. The massive 1-kilometer-long building has the appearance of a warship, but at its foot is a rhythmic line of openings that run through the courtyard.
