- This is the first office building realized by Togo Murano as the Tokyo branch of Morigo Shoten, a kimono wholesaler that has been in business since the Edo period (1603-1868), after he left the Setsu Watanabe office. The designers' intentions are reflected in the austere exterior wall tiles, the flat relationship of the windows to the walls, and the German-made glass mosaic on the entrance ceiling. To date, the building has been expanded and remodeled to balance consideration for the original building and performance improvements for a modern tenant building, such as LEED certification.
