Hampstead Garden Suburb
Raymond Unwin
- Outline
- The area was planned as a residential area for all classes of people in the suburbs of London, and was intended to be spatially divided between classes, but to coexist as a living area. 1968 saw the establishment of the Landscape Conservation Trust, which still has detailed guidelines and regulations regarding the appearance of individual buildings.
