Cité Napoléon

Outline
A housing complex for workers built under the regime of Napoleon III. Each unit opens onto a courtyard with a terrace via a corridor, and the residents' lives are connected to the courtyard in close proximity. The building had an aspect as a spatial device to manage and accommodate the working class, including a gatekeeper and a curfew system.
