- This is the first building in which the curtain wall concept was realized. The lightweight steel frame structure rests on a large steel beam supported by four piers of masonry construction. The interior cast-iron columns and the exterior steel frame are filled with bricks of various colors, creating a decorative facade. This is where the cacao bean milling process takes place, using water power to grind cacao beans.
