Fagus Shoe Factory

Outline
In this work, the two, who had left the Behrens' firm to set up their own firm, present a modernist form that removes the vestiges of the temple architecture seen in the AEG building. The majority of the exterior walls are covered with light, airy glass curtain walls, and columns are eliminated, especially in the corners. The building was designed to symbolize modern industry in the form of a factory facility.
