- Renovation on the site where the library used to stand, selected through a design proposal in 2019. The Shonai-cho Naito Shui-in Watercolor Memorial Hall (designed by Toshio Honma Design Office, 1992, photo right) was retained and partially renovated, while the library was extended into the memorial hall.
